Harve & Chrystal were ready to make renovations to their deck, but being new to the area, weren't sure of a trusted name to contact. A neighbor suggested they call Lovewell Fence & Deck. Soon Harve & Chrystal met with Lovewell sales team member, Alec, to start discussing their options.
The couple had a great size and footprint from their current deck, but it was showing its age and upkeep was a concern. Harve, a Korean War Vet, originally thought they should make the deck closer to ground level should mobility issues became a factor as he and his wife aged. With that in mind, Alec helped them design a deck that could keep the same level as the main living space but be ready to accommodate a future wheelchair ramp, if it ever became necessary.
Keeping their same footprint allowed the them to keep their existing landscaping which was something they both loved.
Lighting was added for safety and nighttime entertaining. During construction, Harve made a new request for railing gates to be added to each set of entry steps for the safety of their fur babies, two cute little Pomeranian pups. Alec didn't even have to flinch, "The flexibility of the Nexus railing system allowed Harve & Chrystal to add gates for each entry point to the deck even after they had the base railing system installed."
Both Harve & Chrystal loved the outcome. Chrystal even stayed for final photos to share how much she loved the work.
The deck upgrade makes the overall exterior of the home look updated and refreshed. The ability for this deck to adapt to situations down the road as needed, really shows the level of detail and thought our sales team can put into your project.
